This policy explains what happens to your data when you use ConvertPro. The short version is that your files never reach us, and the only data collection on this site relates to advertising. Last updated 25 July 2026.
Every tool on this site processes files entirely within your browser, on your own device. There is no upload endpoint, no file storage, no processing server and no database. The browser reads the file into the page's memory, JavaScript and WebAssembly transform it, the result is written back to your device as a download, and closing the tab discards everything.
We therefore have no ability to see, copy, store, transmit or recover the contents of any file you process — not as a matter of policy, but as a consequence of how the site is built. You can verify this: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab while you convert a file, and observe that no request carries your data. Alternatively, load the page and enable airplane mode — the tools continue to work.
One exception, stated plainly: the AI Background Remover downloads a machine-learning model to your device the first time you use it, from a public content delivery network. That is a download to you, not an upload of your image. Your photograph is not transmitted.
ConvertPro has no accounts, no sign-up, no contact form and no newsletter. We do not ask for or store your name, email address, phone number or payment details. The site sets no tracking cookies of its own. The only data the site itself stores on your device is a small amount of local storage: your light/dark theme preference, and a short list of recently used tools. This stays on your device and is never transmitted.
To keep the tools free, this site displays advertising served by Google AdSense. This is the one area where third-party data collection occurs, and it concerns your browsing — never the contents of your files.
Advertising networks may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location and pages viewed, in order to serve and measure ads. We do not control what these third parties collect, and we do not receive your personal data from them. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which involves a request carrying your IP address.
EEA and UK (GDPR). Where advertising cookies require consent, that consent is requested through Google's consent mechanism before personalised ads are served. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection in respect of personal data held about you. As we hold none, such requests should be directed to the relevant advertising provider.
California (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell or share your personal information, and we hold none to sell. You may exercise your rights regarding advertising identifiers through the opt-out links above.
India (DPDP Act). We do not collect or process personal data through this site. Files you process are never transmitted to us and never leave your device.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
The site is served over HTTPS. Because your files are never transmitted, the usual risks of interception, server breach and unauthorised server-side access do not apply to them — there is nothing on a server to breach. Files you produce are saved to your own device, and their security thereafter is a matter for that device.

We may update this policy as the site changes or as legal requirements evolve. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
